Although this feature was originally introduced in AutoCAD 2005, I don't see a lot of people taking advantage of it. It's a real time-saver! Some things in AutoCAD are complicated to learn and have a questionable value in terms of learning time vs. production time pay-off.
Learning to use Sheet Set Manager will pay off right away by making your life easier and saving you time!
From the command line, type "SHEETSET" or press Ctrl+4 to open the Sheet Set Manager. You can click "Learn about Sheet Sets" for the tutorial or just go to Help (F1) and search "Sheet Set" to read the files there (boring, I know, but helpful nonetheless--it will save you lots of time later).
There are also some tutorials online at CadPanel.com and EllenFinkelStein.com.
