In a tough economy, employers and exam candidates may consider not paying for/not taking licensure exams, but continuing on the path to licensure is important now more than ever because:

  • The demand for landscape architects is expected to increase significantly during the next decade, according to U.S. News & World Report and the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
  • Certifications and licenses show employers your dedication and commitment to your profession.
  • Your resume will stand out from other candidates' resumes.
  • You will be considered for jobs for which non-licensed professionals will not be.
  • You will be able to advance your career and therefore increase your compensation faster than non-licensed professionals.

But don't take our word for it!  Read what industry experts have to say about continuing on the path to licensure!
